How
to use Commit lozenges
You will need to stop smoking completely BEFORE you start using
Commit lozenges as your stop-smoking Quit aid.
Note: Nicotine lozenges are medicine and you have to use them in
a certain way to get the best results.
If you are under 18 years of age please consult your doctor.
Take.
Place one Commit lozenge into your mouth and allow it to slowly
dissolve.
Do not chew or swallow the lozenge, doing so will mean you will
not absorb the correct dose of medication. Note: Consuming the nicotine
lozenge too quickly could also lead to heartburn and/or indigestion.
Tingle.
You may begin to feel a warming or tingling sensation as the nicotine
is released from the lozenge and is absorbed by your mouth tissues.
That means the medicine is working.
Shift.
It is a good idea to occasionally shift the nicotine lozenge from
one side of your mouth to the other, just like you would any lozenge.
It should take around about 20-30 minutes for the quit-smoking lozenge
to completely dissolve.
